Company owned by a leading group in drip irrigation (a subsidiary of a global group) which manufactures and distributes a wide range of irrigation products worldwide (drip systems, filters, pipes, sprinklers, valves, valves, filtration and pumping systems ...) in strong growth is seeking for a

District Sales manager Territory

consultant status

 

Reporting to Regional Sales Manager Territory or to Sales Director Africa, you manage the Sales function in your territory for direct large accounts (large scale farms) and business partners (Distributors including contractors, administrations & NGO’s ).

 

You manage the distribution channel development : you establish and retain strong relationships with key executives , and you develop, enhance and implement adequate irrigation models and sales strategies to penetrate your market (drip solutions), maximize sales growth and achieve the territory’s objectives.

 

You optimize sales coverage with Irrigation International consultants (agents) active in your territory and you are able to build, to manage and to lead a team at medium term.

 

You design, plan and budget processes.

 

You work closely with your Regional Sales Manager Territory and Sales Director Africa and with other services within World leading company in drip irrigation : Marketing, Hydraulic, Customer service & Finance.

 

You are responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of your organization, and you implement performance measurements sales reports and other internal intelligence.

 

Your territory might include Western Cape, Eastern cape, Northern Cape and some neighboring countries: Namibia, Botswana and Angola

 

 

You are graduated in Agriculture or Agronomy (Irrigation is an advantage) and you have at least 5 years of experience in the agricultural industry including demonstrated success at sales.

 

You are able to lead, motivate, develop and achieve goals required.

 

This position, based in Western Cape, requires extensive travel, good self-organization as well as good written and verbal communication skills.
